Position-Lead Recruitment

Location-Coimbatore

Reporting to Chief Operating Officer

Salary-ACTC Upto Rs.7,00,000

Responsible for End-to-end recruitment ownership across all campuses and corporate functions of India

Functional Report HR Manager;

Objective of the Position To lead and manage the complete recruitment function across  India by ensuring

timely identification, validation, sourcing, selection, offer closure and joining of suitable candidates for

academic, non-academic, operational and corporate positions. The role is responsible for ensuring

that staffing requirements are fulfilled within defined timelines so that academic delivery, campus

operations and business continuity are not affected.

The Lead - Recruitment will take ownership of recruitment planning, vacancy analysis, manpower

validation, sourcing strategy, candidate screening, stakeholder coordination, interview management,

salary discussion support, offer processing and joining follow-up across existing and upcoming

campuses. The role requires a strong recruitment professional who can work closely with the COO,

HR Manager, Heads of School, Programme Coordinators, Corporate Functional Heads and Campus

HR teams to ensure timely and quality hiring.

Qualification Required MBA in Human Resources / Business Administration preferred

Diploma in Business Management / Human Resource Management / related field

Experience Required Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant recruitment experience, preferably in schools, education groups,

service industry, multi-location organisations (or) corporate recruitment. Strong hands-on experience

in end-to-end recruitment is mandatory. Exposure to academic and non-academic recruitment will be

an added advantage.

Key Skills Required;

Strong end-to-end recruitment process knowledge

Experience in job portals, referrals, social media hiring, consultant coordination and direct sourcing

Ability to manage recruitment timelines and TAT

Good documentation, tracker and MIS reporting skills

Working knowledge of MS Office, Google Sheets and HRMS / recruitment systems

Role/Job Description;

 The Lead - Recruitment will be responsible for managing recruitment across all campuses and corporate

functions of India. The role includes manpower requirement validation, recruitment

planning, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate engagement, offer processing, joining

follow-up and recruitment reporting. The position is expected to ensure that all approved vacancies are

closed within the required timelines and that critical positions are prioritised to support academic

continuity, campus operations and organisational growth.

Specific Responsibilities'

Recruitment Planning & Manpower Validation

 Work closely with the COO, HR Manager, Heads of School, Programme Coordinators and

Corporate Functional Heads to understand manpower requirements across campuses.

 Validate recruitment requirements based on approved headcount, resignations,

replacements, new positions, expansion plans, workload, timetable, programme

requirements and operational needs.

 Ensure that every vacancy is supported with proper justification, approvals and role clarity

before initiating recruitment.

 Maintain campus-wise, programme-wise and department-wise vacancy trackers for

academic, non-academic and corporate positions.

 Prioritise critical vacancies based on academic impact, operational dependency, student

strength, programme requirement and business continuity.

End-to-End Recruitment Ownership

 Own the complete recruitment cycle from requisition to joining.

 Prepare or refine job descriptions in coordination with the concerned stakeholders.

 Source suitable candidates through job portals, employee referrals, internal database, social

media, recruitment consultants, walk-ins, professional networks and direct sourcing.

 Screen candidates based on qualification, experience, communication, stability, subject

knowledge, role fitment, salary expectation and cultural suitability.

 Conduct preliminary HR screening and assess candidate interest, notice period, relocation

possibility, compensation fitment and joining feasibility.

 Coordinate interviews, demo sessions, written tests, skill assessments and panel discussions wherever applicable.

 Ensure timely collection of interview feedback and movement of candidates through the selection process.

 Support salary discussion, offer approvals, offer release and joining confirmation in coordination with HR.

 Follow up with offered candidates until joining and reduce candidate dropouts.

Academic Recruitment;

 Manage recruitment for teaching positions across KG, Primary, Middle School, High School,

Senior Secondary, PE and PA for IB, Cambridge, CBSE, Inclusive Education and other

academic areas.

 Understand programme-specific requirements such as and other curriculum needs.

 Coordinate with Programme Coordinators and Heads of School to ensure proper subjectlevel and programme-level assessment of candidates.

 Ensure academic hiring is completed within timelines so that timetable planning, class

allocation and student learning continuity are not affected.

 Build a strong candidate pipeline for recurring and difficult-to-close academic roles.

Non-Academic, Admin and Corporate Recruitment;

 Manage hiring for administration, operations, finance, HR, IT, admissions, marketing,

transport, hostel, safety, procurement, maintenance and other support functions.

 Work with Corporate Functional Heads and campus leadership to understand functional expectations and role requirements.

 Ensure timely closure of operational and corporate vacancies to avoid disruption in school functioning.

 Support senior-level and specialised hiring requirements wherever required.

Stakeholder Coordination;

 Coordinate closely with the COO, HR Manager, Heads of School, School Directors,

Programme Coordinators, Department Heads and Campus HR teams.

 Provide regular updates on vacancy status, candidate pipeline, interview progress, offer status and joining confirmation.

 Escalate recruitment delays, salary mismatches, candidate dropouts, approval delays or stakeholder dependencies in a timely manner.

 Ensure clear communication and timely follow-up with all stakeholders involved in the recruitment process.

 Drive accountability from interview panels and reporting managers for timely feedback and decision-making.

Recruitment TAT and Business Continuity;

 Ensure approved vacancies are closed within the defined turnaround time.

 Identify critical positions that may affect academic delivery, timetable stability, student

support (or) campus operations.

 Maintain backup profiles and candidate pipelines for high-risk and urgent vacancies.

 Monitor offer-to-joining conversion and take corrective action to reduce dropouts.

 Ensure recruitment delays do not affect school readiness, programme delivery (or)operational continuity.

Recruitment Documentation and Process Compliance;

 Ensure all recruitment activities are properly documented and tracked.

 Maintain updated trackers for vacancies, profiles sourced, shortlisted candidates, interviews,offers, joined candidates and dropped cases.

 Ensure proper collection of resumes, application forms, interview feedback, salary details,approval notes and offer-related documents.

 Coordinate with Campus HR teams for smooth handover after candidate offer acceptance.

 Support effective usage of HRMS / greytHR recruitment modules wherever applicable.

Vendor and Consultant Management;

 Coordinate with recruitment consultants and placement partners wherever required.

 Share clear role briefs, salary ranges, location details and candidate expectations with consultants.

 Monitor consultant performance, profile quality and closure effectiveness.

 Ensure vendor terms, commercials and replacement clauses are followed as per organisational approval.

Recruitment Analytics and Reporting;

 Prepare weekly and periodic recruitment reports for review by the COO and HR Manager.

 Track campus-wise and function-wise vacancies, sourcing status, interview status, selection

status, offers and joining updates.

 Monitor recruitment TAT, ageing of vacancies, offer acceptance ratio, joining ratio and dropout reasons.

 Provide practical insights on difficult-to-close positions, compensation gaps, market

challenges and hiring risks.

 Support manpower planning discussions through recruitment data and trends.

Performance Expectations:

 Timely closure of approved vacancies across campuses

requires someone who can work independently, follow up consistently, maintain recruitment discipline

and ensure staffing readiness across all campuses of  India.
