Job Title:Civil Engineer - Maintenance

Location: Coimbatore Experience: 5–7+ years

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer – Maintenance to oversee and manage civil

maintenance activities for buildings, infrastructure, and related facilities. The candidate will

be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, vendor coordination, structural

inspections, and ensuring the overall upkeep of civil assets.

Key Responsibilities

 Plan, execute, and monitor preventive & breakdown maintenance of civil structures

 Inspect buildings, roads, drainage systems, and other civil infrastructure for defects

 Identify structural issues, cracks, seepage, waterproofing failures, and recommend

corrective measures

 Supervise repair and renovation works including plastering, tiling, painting,

waterproofing, and masonry

 Coordinate with contractors and vendors for civil maintenance projects

 Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and maintenance budgets

 Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measures

 Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and documentation

 Monitor material consumption and control maintenance costs

 Ensure minimal downtime and proper facility upkeep

Qualifications

 Diploma in Civil Engineering

 Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil maintenance

(residential/commercial/industrial projects)

Required Skills

 Strong knowledge of building maintenance practices

 Experience in waterproofing, structural repairs, and finishing works

 Ability to read and interpret civil drawings

 Vendor and contractor management skills

 Good communication and coordination abilities

 Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting

Preferred

 Experience in facility management or large campus maintenance

 Knowledge of statutory compliance related to buildings

 Exposure to budgeting and cost control
