Job Title: Electrical Engineer / Electrical Supervisor

License: B or C Electrical License – Mandatory

Role Overview

The Electrical Engineer/Supervisor will oversee electrical installation works, maintenance

activities, site coordination, safety compliance, and ensure all electrical tasks are executed as

per standards and project requirements. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on

supervision skills, and coordination with project teams and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Supervision

 Supervise and monitor electrical installation, wiring, cabling, and equipment setup.

 Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

 Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and project teams for smooth workflow.

 Inspect and verify installation quality and compliance.

Technical Responsibilities

 Read, understand, and implement electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD),

layouts, and BOQs.

 Conduct load calculations, material requirements, and equipment selection.

 Troubleshoot electrical issues during installation, testing, or commissioning.

 Perform testing and commissioning for electrical systems, panels, and equipment.

Maintenance & Safety

 Ensure electrical systems meet safety standards and statutory compliance.

 Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.

 Maintain logs, inspection reports, and safety checklists.

 Ensure adherence to electrical safety (Lockout/Tagout, PPE, grounding, etc.).

Coordination & Reporting

 Coordinate with site managers, vendors, suppliers, and consultants.

 Prepare daily/weekly project progress reports.

 Ensure timely material requisition and inventory tracking.

 Support project documentation, quality checks, and handover activities.

Skills & Competencies

 Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and standards.

 Hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and supervision.

 Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.

 Problem-solving attitude with strong troubleshooting skills.

 Good communication and team coordination abilities.

 Knowledge of safety protocols and statutory electrical regulations.

Qualifications

 For Electrical Engineer:

o Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

o 7–10+ years of relevant experience

 For Electrical Supervisor:

o ITI / Diploma in Electrical

o 3–8 years of site or maintenance supervision experience

Preferred Experience

 Experience in construction, industrial, commercial projects, MEP, solar, facility

management or similar environments.

 Knowledge of electrical panels, breakers, transformers, DBs, cable routing, and

control wiring.
