Job Title: AC Technician

Role Overview

The AC Technician will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and

repair of air conditioning systems to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operation. The role

requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

 Install, service, and maintain split, window, cassette, ductable, and VRF/VRV AC

systems.

 Diagnose and troubleshoot AC system issues and perform timely repairs.

 Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedule.

 Check refrigerant levels, electrical connections, compressors, and controls.

 Ensure proper functioning of HVAC equipment and system efficiency.

 Maintain service records, checklists, and maintenance logs.

 Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards.

 Coordinate with supervisors and vendors for spare parts and major repairs.

Skills & Competencies

 Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning and HVAC systems.

 Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.

 Good understanding of safety practices and tools.

 Ability to work independently and in a team.

 Good communication and reporting skills.

Qualifications

 ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.

 2–5+ years of experience as an AC Technician.
