Job Title: Drive Installer & Service Engineer

Location: Zambia

Experience: 3–5 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Drive Installer & Service Engineer to handle installation, commissioning, troubleshooting,

and maintenance of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) at customer sites in Zambia.

The role involves hands-on fieldwork, technical support, and coordination with customers to ensure smooth operation of drive systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Installation, commissioning, and servicing of VFD / AC Drives

•Fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of drives

•Preventive and breakdown maintenance at customer sites

•Parameter setting, tuning, and testing of drives

•Coordination with customers for site execution and technical support

•Preparation of service reports and documentation

•Ensuring safety standards and best practices during installation and service

Required Skills & Qualifications;

•Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

•3–5 years of hands-on experience with AC Drives / VFDs

•Strong knowledge of industrial panels, motors, and control systems

•Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams

•Willingness to travel to customer sites within Zambia

•Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills;

•Experience in industrial automation, EPC, or service industry

•Exposure to multiple drive brands

•Basic PLC knowledge is an added advantage
